2012 Alumni Scholarship Reception
As of April 15, 2013 over 160 scholarship application packets have been received and will now undergo processing. Award letters will be emailed to the email provided on the application during the summer.

Chris King Business Scholarship
Available only to College of Business students from Kemper County, Miss. You must remain in good academic standing with the University each semester.
James P. Homer Memorial Scholarship
Available to all graduating high school seniors. Must show leadership and academic abilities. Must maintain a 3.0 GPA each semester.
JoAnnE Cobb Smith Scholarship
Available to current UWA sophomores and upperclassmen from Sumter, Marengo or Lee Counties in Ala. or Lauderdale County in Miss. Must be highly involved in campus life and must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Louise Sisk McDaris Scholarship
Available to in-state early childhood education majors only. Must maintain a 2.75 GPA.
McLain Memorial Scholarship
Available to incoming female frashmen who are residents of Alabama. Must show demonstrated leadership and financial need. Student must reside on campus and maintain a 2.75 GPA.
McPhearson Foundation Scholarship, Inc.
Available to incoming or current students who suffer from a spinal cord injury. Must maintain a minimum 2.75 GPA.
H. D. & Betty Russell Scholarship
Available to all UWA education majors (freshman to graduate students). Must maintain a 2.75 GPA.
Sharon Smith Pafford Scholarship
Available to students in good academic standing in English, music or physical education. Priority will be given to students graduating from Central High School in Camden, Tenn. and Livingston High School in Livingston, Ala. Must maintain a 2.75 GPA.
Tagged for Success Scholarship
Available to junior and senior Alabama residents. Must maintain a 3.0 GPA.
Winton and Naomi Wise Memorial Scholarship
Available to students that demonstrate high academic standards and ACT scores, as well as ,leadership and financial need. Must maintain a 2.75 GPA.
